Every failed paver patio in Michigan failed underneath. Not enough base, base not compacted in lifts, or no edge restraint — and then the first few freeze-thaw cycles do the rest. We excavate to depth, compact in lifts, screed the bedding layer, and restrain the edges. The pattern on top is the easy part.
Built right, a paver surface can be lifted, re-set, and put back decades later. Built on a thin base, it cannot be saved at all.

- Excavation to depth and a compacted aggregate base built up in lifts
- Screeded bedding course and mechanically compacted, restrained edges
- Belgard and Unilock paver systems, plus natural stone and flagstone
- Patios, walkways, front entries, steps, and driveway aprons
- Grades set so water sheds away from the house, not toward it
